Marly-Valdy Marcellus-Laurent is Senior Counsel at Pinterest, where she advises on global content safety, online child safety, and law enforcement response. Her practice spans government and law enforcement data disclosure under the Stored Communications Act, the CLOUD Act, and the EU e-Evidence framework. 

Her career includes roles across technology, financial services, and government, with prior positions at Twitter (now X) and Standard Chartered Bank. She began her legal career as a Brooklyn prosecutor handling special victims cases involving intimate partner violence and elder abuse, and later served as Assistant General Counsel and Ethics Attorney at the New York City Council, advising elected officials and their staff on conflicts-of-interest law.

Born and raised in Haiti, Marly-Valdy is a graduate of New York Law School and lives in Georgia with her husband and three children.
